This quote reminds me of the concept of patterns in our life. If you take a good look at your patterns, measure them for one month and see what is most prominent you can choose to do more of that pattern or less. If you want to achieve a goal, you must add consistent messaging time and time again throughout your day to program these reminders in order to imprint on your brain. Over time your neurology ties together (synapses), or rather create patterns which can create a habit.
Excellence is in most cases, is a mindset (ideally healthy habits).
A mindset is merely your brain repeating patterns and depending on where you are emotionally the mind can create good or not so good habits. It reminds me of when I eat late at night. I know, I feel awful in the morning if I eat before bed but sometimes I do, but my brain knows better. If I tell myself no go to bed, do not eat food and drink water instead it’s easier for me to just go to bed. But in some cases, I am running on auto pilot and forfeit my free will allowing my brain to recall the emotional satisfaction of eating.
When you train your midbrain, something completely changes in your neurology. The mind and the midbrain are different. What I have found over the course of my work using midbrain activations is that the mind completely resets after using midbrain activations and mantras. This practice of peacefully allowing the mind to be released is one of ancient wisdom, through meditation and visioning people have been changing their biology, physiology and overall state of consciousness. They have, and in some cases been able to change their state so much, they have drawn into their real physical forms of their visions.
This method of resetting the mind and imprinting highest desires while releasing the frontal lobe, the logic portion of the brain, “the neocortex” with sound vibrations (mantras) has allowed for miracles to happen.
It’s has been said that the midbrain is the God’s brain and when activated it is limitless. Excellence to me is more than the mind; it is about letting the mind go and listening from within and following that pattern more than not.
